"ONE OF LIFES GREATEST UNDISTURBED JOYS IS THE COMFORTING FACT OF KNOWING THAT YOU ARE WELCOME, RESPECTED, LOVED AND WANTED IN ANY 24 HOUR DAY".

J.D. RUSSELL, 1997

It's been three years since Mr. James D. Russell departed from his home in Sperryville, Virginia yet his presence here remains and his stories are still told.

A beautiful photograph of James perched on the RESTING ROCK by artist Steven Cummings was left on the doorstep of Pleasant View Acres.  It captured Mr. Russell in all his glory and is a splendid representation of all that Mr. Russell exhibited in his spirit and his breath of life.

Thank you Steven for such a fine gift.

And thank you all for sharing all your stories,  photos and memories.

James, we will continue to keep your vision alive and distribute your books, and clippings from the past...and find there is comfort in knowing that you still shining over us.

The Love and Hope Continues,
